Give Someone a Valentine

Ruby wanted to give Valentines to her wonderful teachers and staff as a small act of kindness this year.

Instead of buying cards, she decided to create her own. She painted Valentine artwork on her iPad, and we printed the designs and added a simple backing to each one. We picked up a few cute bags of Hershey’s Kisses and Ruby taped a card to each bag.

The whole project took less than an hour, but the happiness it brought her was priceless. She was so excited to hand them out at school today. It warms my heart to see Ruby’s sweetness in action.

With so much heaviness in the world right now (including here in Minnesota) it feels more important than ever to spread kindness wherever we can.
